In September of 2020, The Roots of Music partnered with various public health organizations to sponsor coronavirus testing events. With volunteers from Tulane and musical guests, we made it a fun event, featured it live on our socials, and fostered relationships with our neighborhood and city. I set up the live broadcasts, shot photos and videos, and edited social media posts and recap videos for the event, in addition to designing standard size and postcard size flyers to hand out before the event (these can be seen on the Print Design page of this portfolio).
The Roots of Music's Instructor Spotlight was a project introducing our online audience to our music instructors, each accomplished musicians in their own right. I shot, designed, and edited the entirety of each video.
Roots students were provided with dinner after every practice, donated by various restaurants and organizations. This dinner was courtesy of Raising Cane's.
Alumni stories video I shot, designed, and edited for The Roots of Music. Alumni stories was a monthly project aimed at following former Roots students to their current destinations, which included various college band faculty, further education at places like Juilliard and Berklee, and teaching at Roots.
